Now you've left the Kiso abd your vassals out to dry and Ikko faith will destabilize Echigo. Even Kenshin couldn't conquer Kyoto before his death in real life which means after you are done struggling for the first 75 years and finally take Kyoto you still have to fight against the Shimazu, Mori, Chosokabe and possibly Otomo who have spent all campaign enjoying peace in some of the richest provinces in Japan. Combine that with your Kiso allies that are obsessed with building a giant defensible castle at the expense of an army and the ever dangerous Ikko Ikki growing in power in the West & the Honma clan on Sado island plotting their eventually T60 invasion of Tohoku with their near unlimited gold reserves and you get one of the toughest campaigns ever. On top of that Kenshin's family (Yamanouchi) are so extraordinarily inept in combat they will be constantly requiring aid against the Hojo. Once Kenshin dies you can expect morale penalties across the entire family, in addition to the fact you are losing out on one of the most legendary generals of the period. Uesugi is legendarily difficult because not only are you matched against Shingen Takeda (Bloodthirsty trait) & Hojo Clan (Night Fighters trait) your special units are Monks that require a research beeline towards to recruit at the expense of everything else, and your entire strategy revolves around conquering as much as possible in Kenshin's lifetime due to him and his step brother being such strong generals. Combine this with the fact their unique units (Bastarnae & Falxes) die to ANY ranged weapon in the game due to wearing no armor and you have a whiff of a faction.
